In the case of a data breach all parties involved would be informed as the situation arises and develops. They would be informed of the time, date and information taken. The source of the breach would be closed down as quickly as possible. At Charmio we do not store more information that is needed in order to minimise possible data breaches. We do not believe in building profiles on our customers through the mass collection of data.
When a visitor or customer leaves a comment and/ or review on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.
If you choose to upload any images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to this website can download and extract any location data contained in images on this website.
If you leave log in to your account, comment or leave a review on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website data in your cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in the details again when you interact again with the website. These cookies are set to last one year.

Data is collected and passed on to “Woocommerce” through the use of an application using the API link to enable us to process your order efficiently. From there it is passed on to “TwoFifteen” or “Inkthreadable” so your order can be processed and shipped.
Payment data is taken securely by “Stripe”, “PayPal”, “Blockonomics”, “Electroneum” or “Vegannection”. All parties use encrypted channels in order to maximise the safety of client data.
We utilise Analytics through “Analytify”. Data of who visits the site, their IP address, the time they visited, the pages viewed and the duration spent viewing. The operating system, browser and location of the visit are also logged. This data is used to help improve our designs, products and make us more relivant to our customers.
Any comments received may be check through an automated spam detection service. Any emails will be sent through “Protonmail” and their encrypted mail servers. Clients emails will be kept as a record but can be removed upon request after 6 months to ensure time is allowed for all issues to be resolved.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them in a moderation queue.
For users than register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit or delete their personal data at any time (except they cannot change their username.) Website administrators are also able to see and edit that information.
Data sent through email will be retained for 6 months and then deleted after that time period or earlier upon the request of the customer.
If you have an account on this site, or have left a comment, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Your payment data is sent and encrypted to “Stripe”, “Electroneum”, “Vegannection” or “Blockonomics” and handled through their servers. Other personal account data that you have provided directly to the site will be stored through “Woocommerce”. Any emails that are sent to us are sent through an encrypted server based in Switzerland belonging to “Protonmail”. For us “Protonmail” is the best and safest email service available offering end to end encrytion.
No client data is transcribed except for that which is placed on to the mailing address labels.
